Finale Round Clarifications and Next steps

Dear Participant,

 

Greetings from the Frostbyte Hackathon Team.

We would like to share an important and transparent update regarding the results and the next phase of the hackathon.

After a detailed and multi-level evaluation of 400+ project submissions, we observed that a large number of entries were extremely competitive, with closely matched scores across key judging parameters. In several instances, many top-performing projects received same marks, making it difficult to ensure a fair and well-deserved final ranking based solely on the initial evaluation.

To maintain the integrity, fairness, and quality of the results, we have decided to introduce a Finale Round, providing all participants with an additional opportunity to further strengthen and refine their projects.

This step has been taken to ensure that:

  • Every deserving project gets a fair chance to stand out

  • Final rankings are based on improved and well-developed solutions

  • The evaluation process remains transparent and merit-driven

What this means for you:

  • You will receive 5 to 10 additional days to improve and finalize your project

  • You may continue with your existing submission by enhancing features, performance, design, or overall execution

  • Teams can consist of up to 5 members for the finale round

  • All participants will be eligible for official certificates and swag benefits

  • The best score from both rounds will be considered for all submitted projects.

     

Scoring Advantage:

  • The Top 3 projects and Top 10 theme-based entries from the initial evaluation will receive an additional +5 points advantage in the final round

This ensures recognition of early high performers while still giving all participants a fair opportunity to compete.

Important Note on Certificates & Swags:

To receive official certificates and swag benefits, participants are required to be part of the complete process, including participation in the finale round. This helps us ensure proper verification, eligibility, and fair distribution.
